Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Ordainely, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Ordainely is a web-based platform for wedding officiants that provides couple management, county-specific marriage license tracking, AI-powered ceremony script generation, and filing deadline reminders.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute county data from the platform

Intellectual Property

Ceremony scripts you create or generate using Ordainely belong to you. You retain full ownership of all content you produce through the platform. Ordainely retains ownership of the platform, its design, code, and county database.

Payment and Trial

New accounts include a 7-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. Your data remains accessible in read-only mode after cancellation. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Limitation of Liability

Ordainely provides county filing data and ceremony tools as a convenience. While we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for errors in county data, missed deadlines, or legal consequences arising from reliance on our platform. Always verify filing requirements directly with your local county clerk's office.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.
